Frequently Asked Questions
What does Farm to Table Machining and Fabrication do?
We specialize in custom machining and fabrication—building everything from structural components to highly specific one-off parts. Whether you need custom construction equipment, farming equipment, industrial assemblies, or made-to-order solutions, we turn raw materials into fully finished products that meet your exact needs.
Where are you located?
We’re proudly based in Northeast Florida and serve clients locally and beyond. If you’re nearby, we’re happy to schedule an in-person consultation or facility visit.
What industries do you work with?
We work across construction, agriculture, manufacturing, marine, and other industrial sectors. If your job involves metal and precision, we’re likely a good fit.
Can you help with one-off parts or do you only take on large jobs?
We do both! Whether you need a single part or a small production run, we’re happy to help. We pride ourselves on being flexible, especially for customers with custom or time-sensitive needs.
What materials do you work with?
We work with a wide range of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and copper. If you’re not sure what material your part requires, we’re happy to guide you through the selection process.
What kind of equipment do you use?
We run a full range of CNC and manual machines, including laser cutting, press brake forming, horizontal boring, milling, and welding equipment. You can view a full list of our equipment in our Capabilities tab.
Do you offer design services?
Yes, we provide in-house design services. If you already have drawings, we can take your designs and bring them to life. If you only have an idea but no design, our team can help you develop the concept into a complete, buildable plan ready for fabrication.
CUSTOM LASER burning SERVICES?
We actually offer custom laser burning services, which means we can etch your design into a variety of materials, not just wood. Our laser technology creates clean, permanent designs that are perfect for both personal and professional use.
If you already have a design or drawing, you can easily submit your file here for pricing and questions. Our team will review your design and get back to you with a quote or any recommendations to ensure the best outcome.
What’s your typical lead time?
Lead times vary depending on project complexity and current workload, but we always strive to be clear and upfront about timing. If you’re working on a tight deadline, let us know—we’ll do everything we can to accommodate.
Do you accept rush jobs?
Yes, when our schedule allows. If you're in a bind, reach out—we understand that urgent projects come up and will always try to help.
What makes you different from other shops?
What truly sets us apart is our team dynamic—and the balance we bring to the table. A lot of small fabrication shops know how to build great products, but they often fall short on the other half of what makes a business successful: clear communication, customer care, and follow-through.
At Farm to Table Machining and Fabrication, we’ve built a shop culture that values both craftsmanship and connection. We take pride not only in the quality of our work, but in how we treat our customers—from answering your questions clearly to providing updates on your project and making sure your experience is smooth from start to finish.
As a family-run business, we work closely together every day, combining technical skill, business insight, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way—with integrity, transparency, and real attention to detail.
